Draft Fantasy Football is all about picking a diamond from the rough, a hidden gem that no one else has considered, or a Premier League player hitting a good run of form. This weekly article is here to help you find your golden ticket to a big score, recommending five attacking differentials who could score big in the upcoming gameweek.
Your third striker just got injured? Your fifth midfielder stuck in rotation hell? We’ll help you out with some suggestions to give your team a little boost!
Junior Stanislas (Bournemouth)
It had been a very low-key return to the Bournemouth starting eleven until GW9 for Stanislas. A big return last weekend against Stoke saw the Bournemouth winger grab an assist and a goal to his name. Although The Cherries have a tough fixture this weekend with Chelsea making the trip south, there is still possible opportunities available as the Chelsea defence has not looked at its best in recent weeks; conceding seven goals in their past three fixtures. However, if we cannot tempt you in taking a punt on Stanislas for this weekends fixture, it is in the next six fixtures that the returns for the Englishman look promising; Newcastle, Huddersfield, Swansea, Burnley, Southampton, and Palace all offer the opportunity for points.

Abdoulaye Doucoure (Watford)
Like his side, Doucoure is going completely under the radar this season; with sensational returns we can almost guarantee he is a free agent in your Draft Fantasy Football league. Doucoure has contributed four goals so far this season and with favourable fixtures coming up over the next five gameweeks, Doucoure would look a fair punt to add to his goal tally. A note of caution though; the Frenchman has only managed four shots on target… remind you of anyone from last season?!
Points Scored: 1
Riyad Mahrez (Leicester City)
Well doesn’t this sound obvious. If Riyad Mahrez is still available in your Draft Fantasy Football league then you need to snap him up immediately. Despite the summer demands to leave England (which might be the reason this chap is still available) Mahrez has showed a good level of commitment to The Foxes and has weighed in with five assists and one goal this season. Next up for Mahrez is Everton, not dissimilar to Leicester this season but seemingly more rudderless, look to the Algerian to spark for his new manager this weekend.
Points Scored: 6
Andre Ayew (West Ham Utd)
Andre Ayew has been somewhat of a flop at West Ham, injury has resulted in a lack of game time and subsequently poor form. With only one assist and one goal to his name so far this season, many fans, pundits and Fantasy Football managers have been writing off the Ghanaian international. Furthermore, recent reports have suggested that Ayew could be on his way out of East London with Inter Milan favourites for a January deal. However a midweek masterclass against Spurs will have West Ham fans and Draft Fantasy Football managers thinking twice about writing off Ayew. The Hammers have only scored eight goals in their previous nine fixtures this season, so all eyes are on Ayew to provide the much needed spark in that final third of the park, and a London derby against Crystal Palace this weekend could well be the fixture required to ignite that spark.
Points Scored: 7
Jordan Ayew (Swansea City)
The younger brother of the featured West Ham winger Andre, Jordan Ayew has in recent weeks struck up a lethal combination with strike partner Tammy Abraham. Ayew has started every fixture so far for Swansea and is considered a integral cog in Paul Clement’s side. With a goal and two assists to his name so far, Ayew is not necessarily on sparkling form, but it is in Ayew’s recent form, in particular with the combination with Abraham, that he is a worthwhile punt. Whilst this weekends fixture is not kind to Swansea as Arsenal, fresh from their comprehensive victory over Everton which saw the back of Ronald Koeman as Everton boss, play hosts. It is still a fixture that may favour Ayew who posses lethal pace; as Arsenal’s defence looks depleted and Per Mertesacker will most certainly struggle against Ayew’s main asset, his speed.
