N.B: For the purposes of this article, we use the standard scoring system used by Draft Fantasy – with Bonus Points, but without Kante Bonus.

Double GW32!

We’ve got ourselves a huge Double GW here Chaps – 10 teams have two fixtures!!!  It’s time to snap up some reinforcements, and we’re here to provide our best 11 of differential players for this Double GW32.  Check out our End of Season Doubles and Blanks article for a full run-down on this Double GW, as well as the upcoming Doubles and Blanks!!

Draft Fantasy Alternative XI:

**35% ownership or below**

🦅 FWD: Michy Batshuayi 🦅

Team:  Crystal Palace

Opponent:  Huddersfield (Home) and Spurs (Away)

Ownership:  0% (Draft Fantasy Football)

Average Score Last 5 GWs:  4 🔥🔥🔥

Prospects:  The in-form striker has been on fire since joining Crystal Palace in January.  Batshuayi has scored two goals and picked up an assist in his last 4 GWs and we fully expect the inform striker to add to this tally over the Double GW.  First up, Huddersfield who have conceded 6 goals in 3 games; this fixture looks like the one for Batshuayi owners.  The second fixture against London rivals Spurs looks set to be a cracker, as Spurs having kept a clean sheet in 5 GWs don’t rule out an attacking return for Batshuayi in this game!

GW32 Points Scored:  4

🍷 FWD: Ashley Barnes 🍷

Team:  Burnley

Opponent:  Wolves (Home)

Ownership:  18% (Draft Fantasy Football)

Average Score Last 5 GWs:  3.6

Prospects:  Barnes is Burnley’s leading goal scorer this season with 9 goals.  Barnes doesn’t have a Double GW in GW32 but don’t let this put you off.  Not only is Barnes guaranteed to start he is playing against a Newcastle side that has conceded 6 goals in the last 3 GWs.  We think this game has goals in it, and we fully expect Barnes to be in the thick of the action.  Calvert-Lewin (18% DFF) is a great alternative here as he faces a trip to a West Ham side who simply cannot defend.

GW32 Points Scored:  2

🐦 MID: Anthony Knockaert 🐦

Team:  Brighton

Opponent:  Southampton (Home) and Chelsea (Away)

Ownership:  7% (Draft Fantasy Football)

Average Score Last 5 GWs:  4.7 🔥🔥🔥

Prospects: Its been a while since we last featured a Brighton boy hey chaps!? Well this Brighton boy is pretty hot right now having assisted 2 and scoring 1 in his last 4 GWs!  Knockaert has picked up a total of 6 assists and 1 goal this season, and has been under the radar in terms of Draft Fantasy for much of the season; yet we think Knockaert is the ideal 5th choice low budget midfielder that can prove to be the differential for any squad.  Guaranteed to start and all Knockaert does is attack!  A Double GW for Brighton means Knockaert will have plenty of opportunities, first up a local derby against fellow south coasters Southampton whose defence has only kept 1 clean sheet in the last 9 GWs.  Chelsea will prove a much tougher challenge, but again their defence has hardly been solid this season shipping 2 goals in GW31 at Everton, Chelsea’s have conceded 16 goals in their last 8 GWs.  All this suggests Knockaert is likely to get plenty of attacking chances in GW32!

GW32 Points Scored:  3

🐝 MID: Gerard Deulofeu 🐝

Team:  Watford

Opponent:  Manchester Utd (Away) and Fulham (Home)

Ownership:  14% (Draft Fantasy Football)

Average Score Last 5 GWs:  8.5 🔥🔥🔥

Prospects:  Another player in absolute red hot form, the Watford midfielder has prospered during the recent GWs making him one of the most highly sought after Draft Fantasy Football players.  Whilst Deulofeu has a Double GW don’t get over seduced into this as there is an FA Cup Semi-Final round the corner and we might see some rotation to provide rest.  If this concerns you, then don’t panic there are plenty of other options out there; non more so than in the resurgent Leicester midfield with in from Tielemans (0% DFF) leading the way with 3 assists and a goal in the last 4 GWs.  However, if like Chap 2 you are willing to take the gamble that Deulofeu won’t get rotated, the home fixture against Fulham has the potential for big attacking returns!

GW32 Points Scored:  3

🏆 MID: Ilkay Gündoğan 🏆

Team:  Manchester City

Opponent:  Fulham (Away) and Cardiff (Home)

Ownership:  21% (Draft Fantasy Football)

Average Score Last 5 GWs:  2.7

Prospects:  Gundogan is an good GW32 option for any manager looking to get onto the Manchester City Double.  Gundogan has played a full 90 minutes in the last 6 GWs as both Fernandinho and KDB missed out with injuries. In return Gundogan contributed a goal which takes his season tally to 5 goals and 2 assists; not bad for a deep lying playmaker.  Both fixtures this GW32 Double for Manchester City are practically walkovers, Fulham and Cardiff are in relegation battles and will not be prioritising a game against Manchester City.  You need to be getting on the Manchester City double chaps.

Word of warning however, KDB should be fit which could put Gundogan out of the side, so we’d highly recommend Manchester United midfielder Herrera (8% DFF) is an alternate option as Herrera is likely to start in both of Manchester United’s fixtures this GW.

GW32 Points Scored:  3

🐺 MID: Diogo Jota 🐺

Team:  Wolves

Opponent:  Burnley (Away) and Manchester United (Home)

Ownership:  28% (Draft Fantasy Football)

Average Score Last 5 GWs:  4.5 🔥🔥🔥

Prospects:  Jota is rated as ‘Hot’ in our Draft Fantasy player rankings as he leads the way for points scored from Wolves’ midfield with 101 points this season.  Jota’s move to a more advanced central role has really come off for Wolves and his partnership with Jimenez has been sublime.  With 6 goals and 7 assists to his name already, we fully expect Jota to continue with his impressive form this Double GW against Burnley in particular but also against Manchester United as the Red Devils come off the back of conceding 5 goals in 3 GWs; Burnley’s defence isn’t any better having shipped 11 goals in 4 GWs!

There is an FA Cup Semi-Final round the corner for Wolves and Jota so again, we might see some rotation to provide rest.  If you are in no position to take a punt on a potential rotation we would highly recommend Crystal Palace midfielder Townsend (34% DFF) as a guaranteed starter for the double GW!

GW32 Points Scored:  10

👹 DEF: Victor Lindelof 👹

Team:  Manchester United

Opponent:  Watford (Home) and Wolves (Away)

Ownership:  28% (Draft Fantasy Football)

Average Score Last 5 GWs:  3.3

Prospects:  Lindelof has been ever present since OGS has taken charge and is the highest scoring Manchester United defender this season with 79 points.  A Double GW looms for the United defender who is highly likely to start in both fixtures against Watford and Wolves.  Despite featuring attacking players in this article for both these sides, it is also likely that United and Lindelof could face heavily rotated Watford and Wolves sides, as both clubs prepare for FA Cup Semi-Finals.  In which case Lindelof will fancy his chance at picking up at least one clean sheet from GW32; making him a solid punt for any Draft Manager looking to pick up a defensive differential.  Smalling (44% DFF) is a lovely alternative here, as he’s likely to plan both United games this GW after reestablishing himself in the side after a recent injury.

GW32 Points Scored:  1

🦅 DEF: Jeffrey Schlupp 🦅

Team:  Crystal Palace

Opponent:  Huddersfield (Home) and Spurs (Away)

Ownership:  8% (Draft Fantasy Football)

Average Score Last 5 GWs:  3.8

Prospects:  The beauty of Schlupp is that whilst categorised as a defender, Palace often deploy him in a more advanced role on the left hand side of the midfield.  A Double GW for Palace has inflated Schlupp’s credentials somewhat.  The Spurs fixture is a black mark against Schlupp’s defensive potential, but in attack Schlupp could well prosper from some average Spurs defending.  However the main attraction is the fixture against Huddersfield.  The Premier League’s basement boys are both poor in defence and attack making it the ideal fixture for a player categorised as a defender but who plays in an attacking role.  If he plays, Schlupp is scoring points chaps.

Of course if Schlupp isn’t available, there should be plenty of Palace defenders available in your Draft Fantasy league.  Our preferred alternate would be Wan-Bissaka (28% DFF) as the right back offers potential attacking returns on top of his defensive ones.

GW32 Points Scored:  7

🐦 DEF: Shane Duffy 🐦

Team:  Brighton

Opponent:  Southampton (Home) and Chelsea (Away)

Ownership:  28% (Draft Fantasy Football)

Average Score Last 5 GWs:  3

Prospects:  An absolute mainstay in the heart of the Brighton defence, Duffy is the highest defensive point scorer for Brighton with 99 points so far this season.  Duffy is not just a defensive selection for you Draft Fantasy team chaps, his attacking returns this season are nothing short of remarkable for a central defender playing in one of the Premier Leagues least ambitious of attacking sides.  Duffy in total has 7 attacking returns; 5 goals and 2 assists.  With double fixtures this GW32 for Duffy, if available, snap him up chaps as this selection keeps one eye of the GW34 doubleDunk (9% DFF), Montoya (0% DFF) or Bernardo (0% DFF) are all good alternatives here.

GW32 Points Scored:  3

🔫 DEF: Laurent Koscielny 🔫

Team:  Arsenal

Opponent:  Newcastle (Home)

Ownership:  31% (Draft Fantasy Football)

Average Score Last 5 GWs: 4.3 🔥🔥🔥

Prospects:  The Arsenal centre back has been in excellent form of late, picking up a goal and a clean sheet in the last 3 GWs!  Koscielny is both a guarenteed starter but also a longer term strategic decision for you Draft Fantasy Football season as Arsenal are 1 of 12 teams with a fixture in the GW33 blank fixture round, due to the FA Cup Semi-Finals.  Looking ahead to this GW, whilst it isn’t a double GW for Koscielny there is still much to get enthused about; opponents Newcastle travel to London having scored only 5 goals in their last 7 away games (2 goals came in one game).  On the other hand, Arsenal have kept 3 clean sheets in their last 5 home games; so we fully back Koscielny to pick up his 3rd and Arsenal’s 7th clean sheet of the season.

GW32 Points Scored:  0

🐝 GK: Ben Foster 🐝

Team:  Watford

Opponent:  Manchester Utd (Away) and Fulham (Home)

Ownership:  27% (Draft Fantasy Football)

Average Score Last 5 GWs:  2

Prospects:  Foster is one of the better keepers in Draft Fantasy that is likely to be available in your league for this Double GW32.  It is also unlikely that the Watford keeper will be rested for the FA Cup Semi-Final.  Whilst it is rare for Draft Fantasy Managers to chop and change keepers, Foster offers an option to managers whose normal goal keepers have tougher fixtures.  The Manchester United game could be a bit of a stretch, however we fully expect Foster to keep a clean sheet when he faces Fulham later on in the GW.  Ryan (20% DFF) and Guaita (4% DFF) are decent Double GW32 alternatives.

GW32 Points Scored:  6

GW32 Team Points:  42

GW32 Team Average Score:  3.8 points per player

GW32 Average Ownership:  19%
